The Pacific Health Information Hub for the Wellington region
In the first video of a 3 part series, Pacific Director Tagaloa Junior Ulu talks about how the CCDHB and HVDHBs are working to support the Pacific community so that it is a friendly environment when they arrive for their first Pfizer Covid vaccination. The theme of Trusted Face in Trusted Places, is about making the Pacific community feel comfortable when they receive the vaccine.
Part of this means having Pacific nurses and health workers to help them through the whole vaccination process; from the time they enter the Community vaccination centre, nurses explain each step and addressing any concerns they may have. It’s about making the Pacific community feel comfortable and that they can trust that the medical team will take care of them every step of the way as they’re getting vaccinated.
Interview 2: Pacific Director Tagaloa Junior Ulu talks about his personal reasons why he decided to get the Pfizer Covid vaccination. His message to the Pacific community across the Wellington and Hutt region is to make sure they are aware that the Pfizer Covid vaccination is safe, and people from their own community have taken the vaccination to protect their families and the community they live in.
Interview 3: Pacific Director Tagaloa Junior Ulu talks about why its important that the pacific community across the Wellington, Porirua and Hutt region get their Covid vaccination. So that the team of 5 million can continue to enjoy the privilege of moving freely about with our families and community, and keeping each other safe.
